Sick Client Policy
In order to keep clients and I healthy, I require clients to cancel or move sessions to telehealth when you, your child, or any siblings living in the same house are sick with cold, cough, flu, stomach bug, contagious rash, and or fever symptoms. This includes runny and stuffy noses (because a little cold for one of us might be a big illness for others). Please do not attend an in-person session until you and your family are symptom free, without the use of medications, for 24 hours.
If you, your child, or a family member has any symptoms of illness, please call or text the office. You will be given the option to move the appointment to telehealth, reschedule, or cancel the session.
There is no fee for cancelling due to illness, I would rather you take care of yourself and our community by resting. Some in our therapy community and building are medically fragile and immunocompromised and cannot be exposed to illness.
If a client or family member attends an in-person session with symptoms, the client or family member will be sent home directly and the session fee will be forfeit. If a client needs to be sent home twice, services will be discontinued.
